Levi’s celebrates 150 years of 501 Jeans
The legacy jeans brand celebrated the 150th anniversary of its 501 Jeans with an immersive experience at the Mall of Asia Central Atrium last May. The two-day event featured a customization booth with patches designed by artists Soleil Ignacio, Kitty Jardenil, Juss Lim, Kris Abrigo, and Zuh Dai. The brand also tapped designers Rik Rasos (ProudRace), RJ Santos (Randolf), Nina Amoncio (Antonina), and Kendrick Cay & CP Garcia (Construction Layers) to design their own versions of the iconic jean, all of which were put on display at the event. Stay tuned this June for more, as Levi’s will be releasing new products in the 501 line, including more colorways of the cropped version of the 501 Original for Women, the 501 Original, and the 501 Shorts.

New Balance launches Grey Day collection
Dad shoe stigma aside, New Balance has in the past few years been a go-to brand for anyone looking for sneakers that don’t sacrifice maximum comfort for style. The color grey in particular is special for the brand, as its sneakers are known for sporting the neutral color. They recently released the Grey Day 2023 collection that includes apparel and the Moon Daze pack, which includes exclusive variations of the 9060, 550, 580, and Fresh Foam x More Trail V3 shoes. “The color’s transcendent nature has always reflected both our history of innovation and identity,” said MAP Active Marketing Manager Bea Madrid at the brand’s Grey Day Celebration last May 24. The exclusive pack is available at New Balance stores nationwide.
