CHED, Marina to release new maritime education curriculum

The revised curriculum comes after the European Union continues to recognize the certificates of Filipino seafarers.

But a seafarers’ union and some maritime schools hope that the new curriculum will comply with international standards, since this is the fifth time that government agencies are changing it.
