Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 24) — People in five more areas in Oriental Mindoro hit by the oil spill can now avail an emergency loan at the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), the agency said in a statement.
These areas are Calapan City and the municipalities of Baco, San Teodoro, Soccoro, and Victoria.
GSIS said it has allocated ₱193.92 million in emergency loan for over 7,700 active members and old-age and disability pensioners.
Applicants may register until May 17 with the same requirements and conditions as the previous announcement of GSIS.
