
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 9) — The University of the Philippines has secured another top high school prospect in its continuous effort to build for the future.
UP announced on Sunday that San Beda-Rizal standout Chris Hubilla has committed to the school.UP is really my dream school,” the Grade 11 student said in a statement.In his one-and-done campaign with San Beda-Rizal, the 20-year-old forward averaged 20.86 points, 12.5 rebounds, 2.29 assists, and 1.79 assists to earn a spot in the Mythical Team of NCAA Season 98.Chris Hubilla is a strong finisher on the break and has a nice touch around the basket. He plays bigger than his size notably on the offensive glass,” UP men’s basketball head coach Goldwin Monteverde said.
