Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 7) – As the Philippines celebrates Holy Week, Vice President Sara Duterte has urged Filipinos to look to the way of the Cross for guidance to rebuild the nation and improve the lives of their countrymen.
“Let the way of the Cross guide us in upholding solidarity, setting aside our differences to build a just and humane society, and fostering equitable governance that will ease the plight of our kababayans [countrymen],” she said on Good Friday.
