Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 1) — No more bodies were recovered from the MV Lady Mary Joy 3, which was hit by a deadly blaze off Basilan province.
In a statement on Saturday, the local government of Basilan said the final death toll is at 28, all of which \”had been accounted for.\”
\”Rescuers have also managed to break open the ferry’s eight cabins and cleared the entire deck of debris. No more bodies were recovered,\” the statement read.
