
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 27) — The country recorded 832 new COVID-19 cases from Feb. 20 to 26, the Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday.
Its weekly bulletin showed that an average of 119 daily cases were tallied, reflecting a 7% decline from the cases logged in the previous week.No critical infections were recorded among the new cases.Meanwhile, 370 critical patients are in hospitals, representing 9.1% of the total COVID-19 admissions in the country.
As of Feb. 27, the nationwide tally of confirmed cases stands at 4,076,237 with over 9,200 active cases. At least four million have recovered, while more than 66,000 succumbed to the disease.
More than 73 million individuals, or 94.60% of the target population, have been vaccinated against COVID-19, while 21 million have already received their booster shots.
