Gas, diesel prices to go up this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 20) – Oil companies announced a mixed round of fuel price adjustments starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Petron, Flying V, Phoenix Petroleum, Caltex, UniOil, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT, SeaOil, and Cleanfuel said the price of gasoline would go up by ₱0.90 per liter, while diesel would increase by ₱1.05 per liter.

Petron, Flying V, Caltex, and SeaOil also announced that the price of kerosene would fall by ₱0.25 per liter.

Last week, the prices of diesel and kerosene were rolled back by ₱2.20 and ₱2.50 per liter, respectively. Gasoline did not see any price adjustment.

Based on the Department of Energy’s oil price monitoring as of Feb. 14, the net year-to-date adjustments were an increase of ₱5.10 per liter for gasoline, a decrease of ₱2.15 per liter for diesel, and a reduction of ₱0.25 per liter for kerosene.
