
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 13) — Oil companies announced a reduction in prices of petroleum products starting Tuesday.
In separate advisories on Monday, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, Caltex, Clean Fuel, Jetti, Phoenix Petroleum, and PTT Philippines said the per-liter prices of diesel products would drop by ₱2.20.
Seaoil and Caltex also said prices of kerosene will fall by ₱2.50 per liter.
Meanwhile, the firms said there would be no adjustment for gasoline.According to the oil monitoring of the Department of Energy as of Feb. 7, the year-to-date per-liter increases stood at ₱5.10 for gasoline, ₱0.05 for diesel, and ₱2.25 for kerosene.
