
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 6) — A fire razed a facility stocked with piles of wood in Parañaque City late Sunday evening, authorities said.

The Parañaque Emergency Local Operations Center reported that the blaze in Brgy. San Antonio was verified at 11:22 p.m., and it quickly reached first alarm at 11:34 p.m.

Since 1:13 a.m. Monday, it has been under Task Force Bravo, which means at least 19 firetrucks have responded to the incident.

Douglas Guiab, senior superintendent of the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region District 3, said the fire originated from a 25,000-square meter warehouse owned by Consolidated Wood Products Inc.

It is adjacent to a vacant lot of the Department of Public Works and Highways and a gasoline station, but both were not affected by the fire, he added.
‘
No residential area was affected by the blaze.
‘
So far, no casualty or injury was reported due to the fire.
