According to the latest advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the LPA was last spotted at 410 kilometers east of Surigao City.

The state weather bureau forecasts moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Eastern and Central Visayas, the Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Negros Occidental, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands.
