Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 2) — A Vietnamese national was arrested after receiving suspected illegal drugs sent through a Grab courier, the Makati City police said Monday.

The Grab delivery rider reported that he received a red eco bag from a female and male Vietnamese in a condominium in Barangay Bel Air, Makati City.

The rider then discovered the suspected illegal drugs inside after the sender did not verify the item being delivered, police said.

During the entrapment operation on Sunday, a 30-year-old Vietnamese national was arrested upon receiving the delivery in a condominium in Barangay San Lorenzo, Makati City.
‘
The seized eco bag contained a pack of cigarettes, a box of facemask, a transparent plastic containing a gram of suspected shabu and an iPhone.
‘
Police said the suspected shabu is worth around ₱6,800.
