The Boston Celtics took care of business at home defeating the Philadelphia 76ers, 116-95, on Sunday.
Jaylen Brown had a game-high 32 points and nine rebounds to lead Boston, while Jayson Tatum added 25 markers, three rebounds and four assists.
The Celtics have now won three consecutive games, improving their record to 33-15.
Heading into today’s game, Philadelphia was gunning for a regular season sweep, having won their previous meetings against Boston.
The Sixers were led by Ben Simmons who had 25 points, nine rebounds and five dimes. Joel Embiid and Shake Milton added 11 markers each.
Philadelphia dropped to 31-19 after today’s loss. They will travel to Miami this Tuesday and face Jimmy Butler and the rest of the Heat.
The Celtics, meanwhile, will take on the Atlanta Hawks on the same day.
