Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The droid you Star Wars fans have been drooling for is now in the country.
Sphero, the makers of the app-enabled BB-8, has exclusively partnered with telecommunications company Globe to distribute the product here in the Philippines.

The toy is a sphere with a moveable head magnetically attached on top, measuring 4.4 inches. It can be controlled with a smartphone through an app, can respond to voice commands and has the ability to project holograms.
The much-coveted BB-8, which is a miniature model of the newest droid that will appear in the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, have started to sell Monday (October 12) at the Gen3 Greenbelt store for P12,499.75.

People who wish to own one can drop by the store to pre-order. But you’ll have to reserve immediately because Globe and Sphero executives said that there the supply will be limited.
According to Globe, the BB-8 is just a first of many efforts the company has up its sleeves because of its comprehensive collaboration with Disney.
