Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) approved on Thursday (September 24) a three-team trade involving the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, Barako Bull Energy, and San Miguel Beermen.
Rain or Shine sent Ryan Araña to Barako Bull for a second round pick in the 2016 PBA Draft.
The Energy then traded Araña to the Beermen for seldom-used Ronald Pascual.
Drafted by the Welcoat franchise in 2007, Araña will boost an already solid fold of the Beermen, who topped the Philippine Cup and Governors’ Cup last season.
