Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Adidas has a brand new beard to show off.

Houston Rockets star James Harden will make the move to join Adidas in a deal reportedly worth $200 million for 13 years starting October 1, after Nike reportedly did not match the mammoth offer.

The deal was confirmed by basketball insider Zach Harper, who provided the German company’s official statement on the partnership.

Harden joins Adidas’ stable of National Basketball Association (NBA) stars, which already has the likes of Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose, Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard, and Washington Wizards’ John Wall.

The Harden-led Rockets reached the Western Conference Finals in last season’s playoffs, but eventually fell to the eventual champions, the Golden State Warriors, led by NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) Steph Curry.
