Giligan’s Sisig Queens emerged as Philippine SuperLiga Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup champions after beating the Foton Tornadoes, 19-21, 21-14, 15-11 on Saturday (August at the Mall of Asia Sands by the Bay.
Danika Gendrauli, who sealed the deal for the Sisig Queens with an offspeed shot, said communication was key.
“We just communicated and saw they were tired so we just continued to attack them,” said Gendrauli, who teammed up with Jane Diaz.
In the men’s division, SM By the Bay A beat the Champion Infinity B, 21-17, 23-21to capture the men’s championship.
