
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — In a statement on their website posted on Friday PHT, the Utah Jazz confirmed that second year guard Danté Exum has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in his left knee.

Exum injured his left knee on August 5 PHT while competing for Australia against Slovenia in Ljubljana — the capital of the Eastern European nation. This match was part of the Boomers’ preparations for the upcoming Olympic qualifiers.

The second year National Basketball Association (NBA) guard was treated on site and subsequently flown to Salt Lake City, Utah where the Jazz confirmed the extent of the injury.
The Australian international was drafted 5th in the 2014 NBA Draft at the tender age of 18-years-old.
