LeBron, Warner Bros. partnership fuels ‘Space Jam 2’ speculation

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Soon after LeBron James’ entertainment company Springhill announced its partnership with Warner Bros. to produce content for television, film, and digital platforms on Thursday (July 23, PHT), social media erupted with speculation that a sequel to the 1996 movie Space Jam was in the works.

It didn’t take long for netizens to get along with the idea.

Production company Village Roadshow even went as far as announcing that they were doing the sequel.

James is no rookie in the movie industry, making his debut as an actor in the 2015 romantic comedy Trainwreck.

If a sequel is in the works, King James would have to bring his A-game to the silver screen to live up to the Michael Jordan’s original.
