Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — A carriage door problem caused a northbound train of the MRT-3 to stop as it was approaching Shaw Boulevard Station during the morning rush hour on Wednesday (July 22), MRT-3 General Manager Roman Buenafe said.
A photo taken by CNN Philippines at around 7:14 a.m. showed passengers disembarking the stalled train and walking towards Shaw Boulevard Station.
Several train passengers posted their frustrations on social media.
