Cargo vessel runs aground off Ilocos Sur

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — A cargo ship with a Singaporean flag ran aground off Candon, Ilocos Sur on Friday afternoon (July 17), according to the provincial governor.

Gov. Ryan Singson said on Saturday (July 18) that all of the 22 crew members were Filipinos. One of them died due to a cardiac arrest.
