Donaire takes on French boxer Anthony Settoul

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — In his second fight back in the junior featherweight division, former world champion Nonito Donaire Jr. will take on  Anthony Settoul on July 18 at the Cotai Arena in Macau.

Donaire, fresh from a second-round knockout win against William Prado in March, hopes to improve his 34-3 record in the 10-rounder that will co-headline the Jose Ramirez-Ryusei Yoshida junior welterweight match.

The former Fighter of the Year aims to reclaim lost glory following a knocout loss to Nicholas Walters of Jamaica that cost him the World Boxing Association (WBA) super-featherweight title.

The 32-year-old Filipino pugilist, ranked no. 3 by the World Boxing Organization (WBO), is also eyeing a title shot against World Boxing Association (WBA) super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg.

Settoul, meanwhile, is looking to rack up his 21st win in 24 fights.
