The incident happened at the 3:48 mark of the third quarter of the Gin Kings’ Governors’ Cup quarterfinals match against the Aces.
Lim gave Abueva a slight kick in the back when the Alaska forward fell to the ground after a heated confrontation with Ginebra import Orlando Johnson.
The Aces went on to win, 114-108, to eliminate Ginebra, booking a semifinals slot in the process.
CNN Philippines tried to get in touch with Lim, but he could not be reached for comment.
