(CNN Philippines) — Barangay Ginebra San Miguel coach Frankie Lim is the right man for the job, said no less than the face of the franchise on Monday afternoon (May 18).
“Trust me when I say the best guy for this team is Coach Frankie so let’s all help each other (na) maging isang barangay,” Ginebra star Mark Caguiao said in a post on Twitter.
“Medyo nasanay tayo na palit ng palit ng coach, eh.”

Caguioa added he sees a bright future for the Gin Kings, who are chasing their first championship in seven years, with Lim at the helm.
Why? Because “he treats everyone equal.”
“With Coach Frankie I can see a bright future for this team. Wala siyang favoritism and that’s what I like about him,” he said.
“Tsaka wala siyang bine-baby. He treats everyone equal. Kaya bigay nalang natin yung tsupon dun sa mga nangsisira sa Ginebra natin.”
Ginebra is so far 1-3 in the ongoing Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors’ Cup with Lim calling the shots.
Lim, a five-time National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) champion with the San Beda Red Lions, took over just this conference, replacing Ato Agustin.
