(CNN Philippines) — Even after defeat, Manny Pacquiao stayed grateful to his supporters.
Pacquiao thanked his fans through his official Facebook page a day after losing to undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. on Sunday (May 3).
“To all the fans, thank you for all your support. Thank you for always being there for me no matter what the outcome,” Pacquiao said on the social networking site.

Fans across the nation were saddened by Pacquiao’s loss, but the Filipino boxer remained humble and graciously accepted his defeat – urging his supporters to also accept the outcome of the fight.
“I thank God for always guiding us through our lives. His plans is higher than our plans and His ways are higher than our ways. God Bless you all.”
