On the lookout for some new hangout places that will get you out of the rain, the heat, or just the stresses of life? We’ve compiled a list of five exciting destinations around the metro for you, your family, or your barkada to check out and add to your list of go-to spots:

1. Opus Mall

A six-story luxury shopping center by Robinsons Malls, Opus Mall opened in July 2024 in Bridgetowne, QC. Already operational are Breakfast at Antonio’s, The Matcha Tokyo café and a child-friendly cinema with beds. Soon, it will also host the first-ever Dave & Buster’s in the Philippines, the biggest M Bakery branch, and several high-end brands.

2. Okada Manila’s Thrillscape

Launched in February 2024, Thrillscape at Okada Manila offers an adrenaline-pumping experience with 32 challenging obstacles, including rock climbing, a spider wall, and a 17-foot “power wall.” It's perfect for those looking for physical excitement.

3. Space & Time Cube+

Opened in July 2024 at S Maison, Space & Time Cube+ is an immersive digital art museum. It features floor-to-ceiling optical illusions, holograms, and AR attractions, providing a visual feast for Instagram-worthy photos.

4. The Fun Roof

Located in Makati, The Fun Roof opened in late 2023 as the largest rooftop bar & playground in Poblacion. It offers great drinks, carnival games, and neon-lit décor. Enjoy mini-golf, batting cages, and a drinking game version of Battleship while partying.

5. Rampa Drag Club

Opened in February 2024, Rampa Drag Club is dedicated to drag performances. Owned by singer Ice Seguerra, government official Liza Diño, and drag queen Precious Paula Nicole, it offers drag show viewing parties, live music, and cocktails. The club has already hosted RuPaul’s Drag Race stars like Nymphia Wind and Anetra.
