DOJ adds more people in flood control mess to immigration watchlist
Metro Manila, Philippines - The Department of Justice (DOJ) adds more people to an immigration watchlist in relation to anomalous flood control projects.
It has directed immigration to monitor the possible foreign travel of eight more people, the DOJ said Thursday, Sept. 4, from an initial list of 35.
The immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) was based on requests of Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, blue ribbon committee chairman, and Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon.
Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said the ILBO does not ban a person from leaving the country.
