Metro Manila, Philippines - Forthsky Padrigao will be missing the first game of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers against the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament on Sept. 21 at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

Padrigao's suspension stemmed from his ejection in the Season 87 Final Four against the Fighting Maroons.

Padrigao committed two unsportsmanlike fouls in that match, which led to him being thrown out.

UST is expected to perform better from their semifinal finish last season as Padrigao and Nic Cabañero will be playing in their final playing year.

Former UAAP juniors Most Valuable Player Collins Akowe will also add firepower to the hungry Growling Tigers.
