Mika Salamanca tops iTunes PH with debut single 'Sino Nga Ba Siya'

Metro Manila, Philippines - “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” big winner Mika Salamanca has officially released her own rendition of the hit ballad "Sino Nga Ba Siya" – and it's already making waves, debuting at #1 on the iTunes Philippines chart just hours after its release.

The single released under Star Music dropped at midnight on August 8, following intense anticipation sparked by a resurfaced clip of young Mika singing the original version of the song.

Originally performed by Sarah Geronimo, the track has seen renewed interest online after childhood videos of Salamanca’s heartfelt rendition resurfaced, earning her praise for her vocal ability and authenticity.

“Mikanisms, thank you for your all-out support!” Star Music PH wrote on its social media account after the single topped the charts.

Star Music officially announced the release on X (formerly Twitter), with fans quickly rallying to stream and share the song. The hashtag #SinoNgaBaSiyaMika trended shortly after release, with fans celebrating what many are calling Mika's "music era."

The release also marks a major milestone for Salamanca, who first rose to fame as a content creator and later as the Kapuso big winner of the most recent PBB edition.

Salamanca is also reportedly working on a full-length album, further solidifying her presence in the Philippine music industry.
