Horror sequel ‘Black Phone 2’ rings in cinemas on Oct. 15
Metro Manila, Philippines - The terrifying line is open again.
Universal Pictures has officially announced that “Black Phone 2,” the chilling sequel to the 2022 horror hit, “The Black Phone,” will be showing in movie houses on Oct. 15.
The film marks the next chapter in what is now set to become a sinister new franchise.
Directed by “Doctor Strange” and “Sinister” filmmaker Scott Derrickson, “Black Phone 2” brings back its original cast: Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Miguel Mora, reprising their roles in a story that promises to push the horror even further.
The original “Black Phone” earned over $160 million worldwide and received global critical acclaim for its haunting premise, strong performances, and atmospheric tension. With Derrickson and longtime collaborator C. Robert Cargill returning as writers and producers, the sequel is set to deliver more of the dread and suspense that made the first film a fan favorite.
