LIST: Class suspensions due to TD Isang

Metro Manila, Philippines - Some local government units suspended face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools due to heavy rains on Friday, Aug. 22.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the low pressure area off Aurora developed into a tropical depression named Isang.

Below is the list of local governments that suspended classes:

+ Parañaque

+ Las Piñas

+ Muntinlupa

+ Manila

+ Pasay

+ Mandaluyong

+ Caloocan

+ Valenzuela (kinder to Grade 12, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela, and Valenzuela City Technological College)

+ Makati (pre-school to Grade 12)

+ Pateros

+ Pasig (pre-school to Grade 12)

+ Marikina

+ San Juan City

+ Navotas

+ Malabon

+ Taguig
