Kris Aquino to undergo isolation for 6 months

Metro Manila, Philippines - Kris Aquino will undergo preventive isolation for six months as she continues to battle her autoimmune diseases.

In her latest post on Instagram on Monday, Aug. 10, Aquino shared she had an almost two-month stay in a private beach property owned by a supporter who wanted her to regain her health and strengthen her faith.

During the stay, the “Queen of All Media” said she came to a decision to have another six to eight hours of infusion session, happening in six days.

“It’s one of the strongest autoimmune immunosuppressants together with my 2 other, 1 taken daily, and 1 given via injection will totally wipe out my immunity… I will be in preventive isolation for 6 months,” the actress and television host said.

Aquino said she will live in their compound in Tarlac during the isolation period.

“After a few more scheduled tests & treatments, and my recuperation- Bimb & i are ready to reveal all & show you everything for the first time. PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING kailangan na kailangan ko [I really need it],” she wrote.

Aquino said her autoimmune diseases are increasing and she had to take “life threatening ailments,” that’s why she has not posted on social media for a while.

“Trust me it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me,” the celebrity said.

In April, Aquino said she has been diagnosed with nine autoimmune disorders, including progressive systemic sclerosis or scleroderma, lupus, polymyositis, mixed connective tissue disease, and the rare autoimmune disease EGPA.

In July, she said she was diagnosed with two more diseases due to her autoimmune diseases.
