Metro Manila, Philippines - Reported deaths due to the successive storms 'Crising,' 'Dante,' and 'Emong' have risen to 37, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Thursday, July 31.

In its report, the NDRRMC said two deaths were confirmed–one each for northern Mindanao and Caraga.

The agency said 35 others are still for validation: nine in Metro Manila, eight in Calabarzon, six in Western Visayas, three each for Cordillera Administrative Region and Negros Island Region, two each in Central Luzon and Northern Mindanao, and one each in Mimaropa and Davao Region.

It said 22 were injured and eight are missing.

Seven million Filipinos nationwide were affected by the bad weather, with the government providing around P763 million worth of humanitarian aid.

Agricultural damage was pegged at P1.9 billion, while infrastructure damage was estimated at P10 billion.
