The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the LPA inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has a smaller chance to become a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours.

“Hindi pa rin natin inaalis ang posibilidad na maging isang ganap na bagyo ito sa mga susunod na araw,” PAGASA weather specialist Chenel Dominguez.

PAGASA also said the southwest monsoon, or habagat, may bring heavy rains over Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro on Thursday.
