Metro Manila, Philippines - The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters have acquired the services of Stanley Pringle to boost the squad's stacked backcourt lineup, the team announced on its social media account Tuesday.

The 38-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Elasto Painters.

Pringle, a four-time champion, averaged 13.2 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Terrafirma Dyip in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup.

Pringle, alongside Christian Standhardinger and a first round draft pick, was traded from Barangay Ginebra to the Dyip in July last year.

Pringle is expected to bring not only his scoring ability but also his leadership in Rain or Shine, which reached the Philippine Cup semifinals before being eliminated by the TNT Tropang 5G.

Pringle will run the backcourt duties with Andrei Caracut, Adrian Nocum, Jhonard Clarito, Gian Mamuyac, and Anton Asistio in the league's golden anniversary that will open on Oct. 5.
