Yulo bags all-around bronze in Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships
Metro Manila, Philippines - Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo clinched the bronze medal in the men’s individual all-around at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Jecheon, South Korea on Thursday, June 5.
Yulo posted a total score of 83.632 points during the final round held at the Jecheon Gymnasium.
Japan’s Oka Shinnosuke won gold with a score of 85.131, while his teammate Hasegawa Tsuyoshi bagged silver with 83.965 points.
Yulo presented a strong showing at his pet events. His floor exercise score was 14.433 points to top the apparatus, while his cumulative vault score was 14.4 points.
The 25-year-old Filipino star will be joining the final rounds for floor exercise and rings on Saturday, and vault, rings, parallel bars, and horizontal bar on Sunday.
He won two gold medals at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics for floor exercise and vault.
