Group who beat up Estrada’s son, nephew in Boracay was involved in killing of Slovakian woman
Metro Manila, Philippines - Senator Jinggoy Estrada on Saturday, May 31, said the men who attacked his son and nephew in Boracay were also involved in the unresolved rape-slay of a Slovakian tourist in March.
“I got word, I received information that the same group that mauled my son and my nephew are involved also in the killing of this lady foreigner,” he said in an interview.
Estrada said he will be pursuing the investigation on the three suspects in custody as it also affects tourism in one of the country’s top destinations.

In March, villagers found the body of a 23-year-old Slovakian woman inside an abandoned hotel on Boracay Island. Authorities said the body was found unclothed and covered in blood.
Friends of the tourist had offered a P50,000-reward for information leading to her whereabouts.
The death of the Slovakian sparked concerns over the island’s safety, with business owners and residents worried about its impact on tourism.
