MMFF 2024 entries head to Netflix

Metro Manila, Philippines - If you missed the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movies, you’ll have a chance to catch some of them on Netflix.

MMFF Best Picture “Green Bones,” which stars Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid, will be heading to the streaming platform on June 19.

Written by Ricky Lee, the prison drama follows the story of a correction officer uncovering the past of a prisoner.

“Green Bones” took home six major awards in the MMFF 2024, including top acting prizes.

Meanwhile, top-grosser film “And the Breadwinner Is…” led by Vice Ganda will be showing on Netflix starting June 12.

Thriller-drama “Uninvited” top billed by Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, and Nadine Lustre, will be on the streaming platform beginning June 5.

Other entries are also showing on Netflix namely, “My Future You,” “Espantaho,” and “Hold Me Close.”
