Scarlett Johansson faces a new dino threat in latest ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ trailer

Metro Manila, Philippines - Dinosaurs are on the loose as Universal Pictures released the latest trailer for “Jurassic World Rebirth” starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey, which marks the seventh entry in the prehistoric franchise.

The new trailer sees Johansson and company lead a mission on a forbidden island in the Atlantic Ocean, which is believed to be the research facility for the original Jurassic Park that experimented on different dinosaurs. Their mission is to retrieve three DNA samples from the largest species there and use them to create a revolutionary medicine to save mankind.

However, things become complicated when they encounter a traveling family on the island and both groups become stranded. They are now forced to work together to gather the DNA samples and escape the island, while fending off different prehistoric creatures on land, air, and sea.

The trailer also features a glimpse of a new dangerous monster called “Distortus Rex” (D-Rex), a genetically mutated Tyrannosaurus Rex with six limbs and a deformed bulky forehead.

“Jurassic World Rebirth” is scheduled to be released in cinemas on July 2.
