Riri Williams forges destiny in Marvel ‘Ironheart’ series teaser

Metro Manila, Philippines - Marvel Television released the teaser video for the “Ironheart” mini-series, starring Dominique Thorne and produced by “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler.

The new Marvel series sees Thorne reprising her role as Riri Williams, a highly intelligent and gifted teenage engineer, who creates her own powerful Iron Man-inspired suit.

The series is set after the events of “Wakanda Forever” as Riri returns to her hometown of Chicago, determined to build her state-of-the-art suit and make her mark on the world. Her time in Wakanda has left her more eager and determined to pursue her dreams, and her quest entangles her in a dangerous world of science and magic.

Joining Thorne is Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins who goes by the alias The Hood, a crime lord who uses dark magic and manipulation to rule over the criminal underworld. Ramos is best known for his roles in “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”, “Dumb Money” and “Twisters.”

“Ironheart” will premiere with the first three episodes on June 24 on Disney+.
