Metro Manila, Philippines - Re-electionist Senator Bong Go and opposition bet Bam Aquino top the partial, unofficial running tally for the 2025 midterm elections senatorial race as of Wednesday, May 14.

According to the Comelec transparency server data released by election watchdog PPCRV, the consistent front-runner from the Duterte-backed PDP slate has more than 26.4 million votes as of Wednesday, 10:51 a.m.

Opposition candidate Bam Aquino tentatively claims the second spot with above 20.6 million votes.

Re-electionist Senator Bato Dela Rosa, outgoing ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo, and other opposition bet Kiko Pangilinan also round out the top five with 20.2 million, 16.8 million, and 15 million

Here are the leading Senate bets based on the Comelec’s partial, unofficial tally.

Over the election night, Marcoleta rose four slots and overtook Lacson and Sotto while Lapid moved to the 11th spot over the presidential sister.

Comelec said more than 68.6 million Filipinos were registered to vote on election day, which President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared as a special non-working holiday “to enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote.”

Voting period for the general public began at 7 a.m. and officially closed at 7 p.m.
