1 dead due to Typhoon Tino
Metro Manila, Philippines - One individual has been reported dead amid the onslaught of Typhoon Tino, government data showed on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Based on the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) record, the fatality was from Central Visayas.
Meanwhile, there were no injuries and missing persons logged.
About 17,000 families or 59,918 persons have been affected by Tino in Visayas and Mindanao. Of which, 9,170 households are in evacuation centers.
The NDRRMC has yet to report any damage.
“Tino” has made two landfalls. It was spotted in the vicinity of Sagay City, Negros Occidental as of 7 a.m. and is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday morning.
