Gilas to play FIBA World Cup qualifiers game vs Guam at Blue Eagle Gym
Metro Manila, Philippines - Gilas Pilipinas will be seeing hardcourt action versus Guam in the first window of the FIBA World Cup Asian 2027 qualifiers at the newly renovated Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City on Dec. 1.
This is the first time that the Blue Eagle Gym, located inside the Ateneo de Manila University campus, will host a men's national basketball team game.
Before the home game, Gilas will battle Guam on its turf on Nov. 28 to start its bid to qualify for the global showpiece.
The Blue Eagle Gym recently hosted a match between Ateneo and University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament.
The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announced on Tuesday, Oct. 28, that tickets for the Gilas-Guam are now available.
