Metro Manila, Philippines - Motorists will have to shell out more during the Undas long weekend as firms are set to implement a hefty increase in fuel prices starting Tuesday, Oct. 28.

In separate advisories on Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, and Seaoil said diesel will go up by P2 per liter while gasoline will increase by P1.20 per liter.

Caltex and Seaoil said per-liter prices of kerosene will rise by P1.70.

Companies had a mixed movement in pump prices last week, with diesel and kerosene having rollbacks.

As of Oct. 21, the Department of Energy said the year-to-date total net increase stood at P15.30 per liter for gasoline, P17.15 per liter for diesel, and P4.85 per liter for kerosene.
