Content creator Emman Atienza dies at 19

Metro Manila, Philippines - Content creator Emman Atienza has died at the age of 19, her family said on Friday, Oct. 24.

TV host Kim Atienza announced the “unexpected passing” of his daughter, but did not disclose the cause of her death.

He recalled how much joy, laughter, and love Emman brought to their lives.

“Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” he wrote in an instagram post.

Atienza urged his daughter’s supporters to show compassion, courage, and kindness – qualities he said Emman lived by.

Aside from creating social media content on fashion, mental health awareness, and body positivity, Emman was also an artist of Sparkle, the talent arm of GMA Network.

In a statement, Sparkle said it offers its deepest condolences to the Atienzas.
