Metro Manila, Philippines - Maverick Ahanmisi's wish has been granted after Barangay Ginebra traded him and Aljon Mariano to the Terrafirma Dyip.

In exchange, Ginebra acquired the rights to Terrafirma's first round pick in the Season 51 draft.

The deal was approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The 34-year-old Maverick will be seeing hardcourt action with his younger brother Jerrick, who was earlier dealt to Terrafirma from Magnolia for the rights of Javi Gomez de Liano.

Maverick asked the Ginebra management for a trade following a decline in his playing time last season, where he averaged 7.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in a little over 21 minutes per outing.

Meanwhile, Mariano ended his decade-long stint with Ginebra, winning seven titles with the ballclub.

Terrafirma will next face the Converge FiberXers in the ongoing Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
