Metro Manila, Philippines — Kiyomi Watanabe, the lone Filipino bet in judo, concluded her Paris 2024 Olympics stint after losing to China's Tang Jing in the women's -63kg category Round of 32.

The world No.22 Tang only needed 51 seconds to score an ippon win over the 27-year-old Watanabe in the first round.

Ippon is the highest score a fighter can have in judo.

Watanabe also suffered the same fate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, when she bowed to Spain's Cristina Cabana Perez in the opening round.
