Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 3) — After being crowned Miss Earth Air 2023, Filipino beauty queen Yllana Aduana on Wednesday said she has great things planned for her and her advocacy about environmental education.
“I’ll focus more on growth and development and also rearing up to the responsibilities of being Miss Earth Air,” she told CNN Philippines’ New Day.
Aduana said she will also continue reaching out to communities across the country to promote her advocacy E.A.R.T.H. education, which means Environmental Awareness and Action to Restore and Transcend Home through Education.
Personally, the beauty queen said she also wants to pursue a career in the entertainment industry and even be a newscaster in the future.
Aduana was named Miss Earth Air 2023 on Dec. 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She said it still feels surreal for her that she was able to take home the title and represent the country internationally.
For the beauty queen, Miss Earth is the organization that best fits her as this gave her a bigger platform to further promote her initiatives.
Aduana said her journey ahead will be heavy, but fulfilling at the same time.
