Metro Manila, Philippines – Toll rates along the Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) R-1 Expressway Extension, from Zapote to Kawit will increase by ₱15 to ₱46 starting Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Under the revised matrix, Class 1 vehicles will be charged ₱103, Class 2 vehicles ₱207, and Class 3 vehicles ₱310.
The increase marks the second and final tranche of an adjustment approved last year covering petitions filed in 2020 and 2023, according to Cavitex Infrastructure Corp. (CIC).
To cushion the impact, public utility vehicles—including traditional and modernized jeepneys, buses, and UV Express units—will be covered by a 60-day toll rebate program.
Department of Agriculture-accredited trucks transporting agricultural produce will also receive toll rebates through Nov. 30.
The adjustment applies exclusively to the Zapote-to-Kawit segment; rates along other operational sections of the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project remain unchanged.
