Metro Manila, Philippines – “The Voice” Season 26 winner Sofronio Vasquez is lending his voice to “Seas Unbroken,” a composition in support of the country’s 2026 ASEAN chairship.
Vasquez debuted the song alongside the Young Voices of the Philippines in a live performance aboard the Wish 107.5 Bus.
Written by Von de Guzman, “Seas Unbroken” draws inspiration from the seas and islands connecting Southeast Asian nations, with the song carrying a message of regional unity.
Vasquez made history as the first Filipino and first Asian male winner of the US singing competition “The Voice.”
He was joined by the Young Voices of the Philippines, one of the scholar choirs of the Treble Choir Association of the Philippines, which provides young performers with opportunities to develop their musical talents.
The song was anchored on the ASEAN theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together,” with priorities on peace and security, prosperity, and people empowerment.
The Philippines assumed the regional bloc chairship on Jan. 1, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.
